The game releases June 2.
Cheng's enthusiasm about the project was evident in an interview with him. "I do believe that 'Diablo: Immortal' will make a difference in people's perception of what they perceive as a mobile game," Cheng told The Washington Post. "That was one of our main goals since the beginning. Let's raise the standard of what we can offer players from an online game."
"I have three kids, and they're all teenagers, and they don't have the same idea of a distinction between consoles, PCs or mobile devices," Cheng said. "They love gaming across all kinds of platforms."
The game will have the simultaneous launch on PC with full keyboard-and mouse and controller support, in addition to cross-play and cross progression with mobile enabled at the time of launch. The decision was based on the beta test in which gaming content creators expressed that they'd require an emulated version of the game so that they could showcase it on their streams diablo II resurrected items said Rod Fergusson, general manager of the Diablo franchise.
