"Mobile is something I'm sure we're all excited about WoTLK Gold. We all have mobile phones. We all own tablets. It's a pretty ubiquitous experience as of now," Brack said.
"We've experimented with differents things (for World of Warcraft ] with tablet. We don't have a 'this is what that we believe is the right thing for tablet.' We kind of keep our eyes on what the right experience is," he added.
One of the major challenges in the introduction of World of Warcraft to mobiles is adapting the interface, Brack stated.
"The experience of interface is extremely difficult on a tablet or phone. The game was not developed to play on a phone or play on a tablets," Brack said. "So that's more of an unplanned thing that will come up instead of actually thinking about we're going replicate that World of Warcraft experience on a tablet."
World of Warcraft may not be available on mobiles anytime soon, but another Blizzard game -- World of Warcraft --will be made available for Android and iOS during 2014. the developer confirmed today.
Blizzard has announced World of Warcraft 's fifth expansion today: Warlords of Draenor. For more information on the expansion, see P2Pah's review of the forthcoming expansion.Of of course, 7.4 million is still smaller that World of Warcraft 's peak number of WOW WoTLK Classic Gold subscribers of 12 million in 2010.
